Kidusha - the sanctification prayer

READER: We will sanctify your name in this world even as it is sanctified in the heavens above, as it is written by your prophets; they call to each other saying:

CONGREGATION: Holy, Holy, holy is the Lord of Hosts, the whole earth is full of His glory.

READER: Those across from them say responsively, "Blessed”

CONGREGATION: Blessed be the glory of the Lord from His abiding-place.

READER:

N'kadesh et shimcha baolam k'shem shemakdishim oto bishmey marom kakatuv al yad nevi'echa
v'kara zeh el zeh v'amar: kadosh,kadosh,kadosh, adonai tz'vaot m'lo chol ha'aretz k'vodo. L'umatarn baruch yomyru. Baruch k'vod adonai mimkomo.

READER: You are holy O Lord and holy beings praise your name. Therefore we join with the choirs of heaven and sing unto you. For in the scriptures we read that the seraphim cried one to another and said:

CONGREGATION: Kadosh, kadosh, kadosh, Adonai tz'vaot
m'lo chol ha'aretz k'vodo.

Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of Hosts
The whole earth is full of his glory

And a great thunderous voice was heard saying:
Blessed is the glory of the Lord from this place.
Indeed the four living creatures shout;
Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty
Who was and is and is to come.

READER: The twenty four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever and cast their crowns before the throne. Indeed the angels around the throne sing praises to him who sits upon the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever.
