It is for us to praise the Lord of all, to proclaim the greatness of the Creator of the Universe, who has not made us like the nations of the world and has not placed us like the families of the earth, who has not planned our destiny to be like theirs, nor our lot like that of all their multitude. We bend our knee and bow, acknowledging before the King of Kings, the Holy One, blessed be He, that He stretched forth the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth. His glory is revealed in the heavens above, and His might is manifest in the loftiest heights. He is our God; there is none else; truly He is our God, there is none beside Him, as it is written in His Torah: "You shall know this day, and meditate in your heart that the Lord is God in the heavens above and on the earth below there is none else."

V'neemar v' hayah adonai k'melech al kol ha'aretz bayom hahu yiyeh adonai echad ushmo echad.

And it has been foretold: The Lord shall be King over all the earth; on that day the Lord shall be One and His name One.
