As for Me and My House, We Shall Serve the Lord

HEALING on the SHABBOT

You shall observe my holy day of rest, a covenant which I have made between myself and the house of Israel, a sign for all generations for time to come for evermore. For in six days of a week the Lord did create the heavens and the earth, and then He did cease from all his work. The seventh day we now do observe, a day to tell that He is Lord of all. On this day Yeshua chose to heal, a day of great liberation. As in the Exodus, Israel was free at last, so we now through Yeshua receive new liberty as sons born from above.

Yeshua is the Lord of the Sabbath. Even so we come on the Sabbath to be renewed in him and to bring a sacrifice of worship and praise that will be acceptable to God. As the Sabbath day is a day of heralding liberation, so Yeshua bids us to come and be healed. He as well, by teaching and example, made the Sabbath a day upon which to give ourselves to heal the sick and restore others in every aspect of their lives.

Yeshua healed the man born blind, the crippled at the pool, and the man in the Synagogue with the withered hand. Even so, we come to worship and to minister in his power.
