Therefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever; for in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed."

READER: Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.

RESPONSE: Six days shall you labor and do all your work.

READER: But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God; in it you shall not do any work.

RESPONSE: For in six days the Lord made the heaven and the earth, the sea and all that is in them and rested on the seventh day; wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

READER: Speak also to the children of Israel saying, truly my Sabbaths you shall keep; for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you.

RESPONSE: Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabba throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

READER: It is a sign between Me and the children of Israel forever; in six days the Lord made heaven and earth and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.

RESPONSE: For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I shall make, shall remain before Me, says the Lord, so shall your seed (Israel) and your name remain.

READER: And it shall come to pass that from one new moon to another and from one Sabbath to another shall all flesh come and worship before Me, say the Lord.
